Coastal Georgia Gun Club believes in helping our Community

We hold a few events during the year that are designed to help people who unfamiliar with firearms and would like to be more confident in them, learn more about them, or just have some fun.  See two of them below.

Women on Target

​

Women On Target® Instructional Shooting Clinics create more opportunities for women to learn all about firearms, and to gain confidence in newly-acquired shooting skills.

​

You spend the morning session in class learning gun safety from an experienced instructor who is also a woman. No men in the room. Then break for lunch (included). Then go out to the range and shoot rifles, pistols and shotguns with a personal coach for each person at each station. 

​

It can be a lot of fun if you have a small group of women that attend together.

​

There are 32 slots available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

​

COST IS $35 per person.

Youth Day

​

This event will take place every month that has a 5th Saturday for youth ages 7-17, all participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Each participant will have the opportunity to shoot 22 rifles, shotguns, BB rifles & archery under the supervision of shooting coaches and range safety officers.

Registration starts at 8:30 am, safety briefing and range instruction at 9 am. (Gate closes at 9 am, no late arrivals!) After briefing, participants will go out to the range with all materials and ammo provided at no charge, event ends at 12 pm. Everyone that attends will be required to fill out a waiver, the youth waiver requires a parent or guardian.
